Misbahul Haq, the test captain of Pakistan, came out to support skipper Shahid Afridi amid uncertainty from the national team’s caption selection for the World Cup.
Misbahul said in an interview that he thinks that Afridi is doing a good job and they have no problems. He said that whoever the captain is, they’ll still go out and play their game since everybody’s in good shape which is a good thing for the team.
He added that everybody in the team contributes and gets scores, as well as the bowlers who do well. So he thinks that these are good signs for the forthcoming World cup.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will be announcing the captain for the World Cup on February 4 which is before their ongoing one-day series’ final match opposing to New Zealand.
Misbahul further said that the team gels well and everyone will be playing for the team and the country, whoever the captain is.
