Jamaica vs Sussex – Jamaica won by 50 runs

Jamaica won their second game of the tournament, beating Sussex by 50 runs in Antigua. Nkrumma Bonner, who scored an unbeaten 66 off 57 balls, and Kennar Lewis (23) gave Jamaica a good start with a 51-run opening stand.

Sussex did fight back with a couple of quick wickets but important contributions of 20 and 24 from Carlton Baugh and Andre Russell respectively, help Jamaica set up a competitive score of 152 for 5

In reply, only three Sussex batsmen were able to reach double-figures as they were bowled out for 102 in 19.2 overs. Legspinner Odean Brown picked up three wickets, and Krishmar Santokie, Nikita Miller and Marlon Samuels grabbed two each.

Barbados vs Netherlands –  Barbados won by 10 wickets (with 75 balls remaining)

Netherlands lost to Barbados by 10 wickets after being bowled out for 73. Offspinner Ashely Nurse picked up three wickets and was supported by Tino Best, Carlos Brathwaite and Sulieman Benn, each of whom made breakthroughs.

In reply, the Barbados openers reached the target in just 7.3 overs. Dwayne Smith smashed six fours and two sixes in his unbeaten 49 off 27 balls and captain Kirk Edwards scored 22.
