England cricketers escape injury in accident in UAE

Four members of the England ODI squad in the United Arab Emirates escaped injury following an accident in the taxi they were traveling on Saturday.

Stuart Broad, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen and Monty Panesar were travelling at around 100kph when the taxi’s bonnet suddenly flew up and into the car’s windscreen.

The driver managed to stop the car safely despite his vision being obscured.

These players later managed to come for Saturday evening training at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
