The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) have announced that England will play two NatWest International T20 matches against West Indies at The Kia Oval in September.
Surrey chief executive Richard Gould said, “Surrey CCC is really pleased to be able to host these games at the Kia Oval in what will be a colourful and exciting end to the international summer.”
“T20 cricket is very popular at the Kia Oval, as we have seen this year, with record-breaking crowds coming to see the Surrey Lions.”
“We want both games to be played in a friendly party atmosphere with a large turnout from local residents in Lambeth and London, which is why tickets have been priced from only £25, with U16 tickets on sale for £1.”
Dominic Warne, senior marketing manager, NatWest said, “NatWest is an enthusiastic supporter of England’s one-day international and T20 cricket.”
“With England hosting the West Indies, we feel this will provide a great opportunity for more fans to enjoy what we believe will be an exciting finale to this summer’s international programme.”
The matches will take place on Friday, September 23 and Sunday, September 25, with the first starting at 6.15pm and the second at 6.30pm
