Fire scare in Newlands during the India-South Africa Test

During the 3rd day of the final cricket Test between South Africa and India, a fire scare had broken out. The smoke was first seen going out from the kitchen which is adjacent to the stand of the member and just below the dressing room.

In the kitchen’s minor fire, authorities present forced to scurry away the spectator and players from the particular place.

During the Indian innings’ 60th over, the fire had happened when the witnessed smoke came out of the stands located just very near to the dressing room of the Indian team.

Moreover, the authorities quickly brought under control the fire from the area. After a quick investigation, it was found out that the smoke only came out because of an oil-fire in one of the kitchens.
