Named as the longest-serving CEO in the international cricket industry Gerald Majola, the chief executive of Cricket South Africa (CSA), completes a decade in his office.
The administrator, 50, was shown a special during the ongoing 3rd Test between South Africa and India’s lunch interval just to acknowledge his long service that lasted in a decade.
The CSA said that Majola has come from a sporting dynasty in Eastern Cape that includes his dad Eric.
Majola said that it’s been an honor for him as well as a privilege for him to be a decade long CEO of CSA and it’s been meaningful for him to have been in the position during their host of all of the ICC World Cup.
He further said that it’s been uplifting for him to being part of the South African cricket’s continuing transformation in the mission of CSA.
