ICC World XI to tour Pakistan by end of 2011

ICC plans to give another chance to Pakistan to host international matches EGC Chairman Giles Clarke wrote on “The Wisden  Cricketer” Magazine’s September issue, that ICC World XI would tour the country as soon as they confirm that national teams are safe to play there.

The March 2009 attack on Sri Lankan players has been a blow on Pakistan’s cricket history and the country has not been permitted to host a match ever since.

Despite the security challenges that a team is bound to face, Clarke believes the situation will change in due course and cannot abandon a nation with a wonderful cricket history.
