India won the toss and elected to bowl against England in the third ODI at HEC International Cricket Stadium Complex, Ranchi on Saturday.
India, who won the second match in Rajkot to level the series at 1-1, are unchanged.
England have brought back Tim Bresnan in place of Chris Woakes.
India captain MS Dhoni said, “It’s a special feeling. Of the 40,000 people in the stadium I’ve played with about 15,000 of them at tennis ball cricket in different places in Ranchi.
“I had an interaction with the local president and he always wanted to build a world-class stadium, a lot of credit goes to him. A good response from the crowd means it is a special venue.
“It was a complete performance in Kochi, we need to keep moving forward.”
England captain Alastair Cook said, “The dew will be important, but if we can get runs on the board hopefully we can defend them later on.
“We played well in the first game and got outplayed in the second.”
“It’s an incredible facility, it will be a loud crowd. It looks a good wicket and the crowd will make a lot of noise, hopefully we can put on a good show.”
