India are at second position in the ODI ranking but India will have to beat Australia in the three-match ODI series starting on Sunday if they want to remain at the second position .
Australia is at the top position on 132 ratings points, India, South Africa and Sri Lanka are locked on 115.
India needs to beat Australia -0 or 2-1 and buy doing this they will have 121 or 118 ratings points which will ensure that they are at the second position.
If India lose the series against Australia then they will drop to fourth position as South Africa, and Sri Lanka have also got 115 points each.
India will take on Australia in the first one-dayer on October 17.
