India vs West Indies, 2nd Test, Day 2: WI 98/5

Rain spoilt the game and only under two hours play was possible on the second day of the Second Digicel Test between West Indies and India on Wednesday.

West Indies were struggling 98 for five at the close of the play with Marlon Samuels (21 not out) and veteran Shiv Chanderpaul (20 not out). The pair has so far added 41 for the sixth wicket.

Resuming on an overnight total of 30/3, West Indies lost two quick wickets.  Sharma first claimed night watchman Devendra Bishoo and in the same over got rid of Ramnaresh Sarwan.

West Indies are 103 runs behind India’s first innings total of 201.
