The injury woes of India has continue as medium paces Praveen Kumar sustained an injury in his elbow on the eve of their 4-match ODIs opposing to South Africa beginning on Tuesday. Ishant Sharma was called as the replacement of Kumar’s place.
Ranjib Biswal, the team manager, had confirmed the news about the sustained bowling arm injury of Kumar that was suffered during the T20 match opposing to South Africa last Sunday.
Dhoni said in an interview that Kumar has been one of their main bowlers in the cricket’s shorter version and he’s been effective with the new ball. He added that they really don’t want to risk him, to think that the World Cup is getting nearer already.
