Former chief of Indian Premier League Lalit Modi has moved to apex court on 21st September for getting stay order on the July 15 Bombay HC refusal on reconstituting disciplinary committee of BCCI, Indian cricket board.
Lalit Modi has also wanted the stay on proceedings before disciplinary committee constituted by BCCI.
In the verdict issued by Bombay High court, the court has dismissed the plea of Lalit Modi asking re-constitution of disciplinary committee. As per Lalit Modi, the decision of Bombay High Court was biased.
After the controversy created in Lalit Modi case after the third edition of Indian Premier League, new twists and turns are emerging. It is still to be seen what verdict Supreme Court will given in near future.
