Brisbane Heat bat first against Melbourne Renegades

Brisbane Heat captain Peter Forrest won the toss and elected to bat against the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League match at Docklands Stadium, Melbourne.

Both sides have made one change, Renegades have left out Shaun Tait to include Aaron Heal, while  Brisbane Heat included Chris Lynn inplace of Steve Paulsen.

The Renegades and Heat sit 7th and 8th on the table respectively, the Heat has a mathematical chance of making the semi finals with some big wins but realistically, they are out of the hunt for a semi final spot.

The Renegades are looking for a win to bring them level with the Melbourne Stars on 6 points to give themselves a realistic chance of reaching the semi finals.

Steve Paulsen is the Heat’s 12th man while Will Sheridan will carry the drinks for the hosts.
