Mumbai Indians (MI) won the toss and elected to field against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 65th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2012 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Mumbai Indians field an unchanged side.
Kolkata Knight Riders have replaced Marchant de Lange and Laxmi Ratan Shukla with Shakib Al Hasan and Iqbal Abdulla.
Kolkata Knight Riders captain, Gautam Gambhir, said “We just want to go out and continue performing the way we have and hopefully come out on top.
“We don’t want to put too much pressure on ourselves and get desperate.
“I would have batted first as well since we have three spinners in the side today.”
“Shakib and Iqbal come in for Marchant de Lange and Laxmi Ratan Shukla in today’s game because the wicket looks a little dry.”
Mumbai Indians captain, Harbhajan Singh, said “It is a big game, if we win this one then we hold on to our second spot.
“It makes a difference when you have experience at the top and having Gibbs back in the side is definitely a real boost to our side.
“We don’t know what to expect from this pitch but chasing has been easier out here.
“Everyone is fit and is looking forward to this fixture. Our team is unchanged.”
