Mike Hussey, Australia’s injured batsman, is hoping for the Australian team to win at World Cup but admitting that he’ll be missing the opening two matches of the side in the grand event which starts this February 19.
Hussy wrote in a column that he has 48 hours until he finds out whether he’ll fly out with the team. His teammates will be flying out on Wednesday already and he’s keen to be with them yet, he’s confident that he will be on that plane.
He further wrote that he’ll be having a test on his hamstring on Monday, with the doctors’ final decision on the next day. He believes that he has got lots of time already on making sure that he is fit enough for the game, admitting not the first or second match but for the third game opposing to Sri Lanka on the 5th of March.
