The Chennai Police summons again IPL’s suspended Commissioner Lalit Modie and other involved people with a case of funds misappropriation, giving them only until the 15th of February to show up for an inquiry.
City Police Commissioner T Rajendiran said that they’ve given them time only until February 15.
The others summoned aside from Modi include: Mumbai’s Harish Krishnamachari and WSG office-bearers Andrew Georgio, Seamus O’Brien and Venu Nair.
They were asked to appear for inquiry on January 25, 26, or 28, that would fit to their schedule.
Their case was filed by the BCCI Secretary N Srinivasan, who charged against Modi, accusing of misappropriation for the RS 468 crore, primarily in granting free commercial rights and media rights.
