Modi petitions against BCCI at the Bombay High Court

Lalit Modi the Indian Premier League Commissioner has filed his petition against BCCI’s decision to suspend him. He has also urged the court to restrain BCCI from taking any strict disciplinary actions against him.

He also prayed the court to appoint a mutually acceptable and unbiased person or panel to look into this case concerning his flouting of BCCI guidelines during the IPL T-20.

The suspension order which was issued to Modi on 25th April 2010 was followed by three consecutive show cause notices; Modi has moved the court with a request of withdrawing the suspension order as well as notices.
