Mushir Khan has become the youngest cricketer to play in officially recognized tournament by BCCI, the Giles Shield. He was born on 27th February 2005, he’s approximately 6 years and 10 months old.
Mushir made his debut today in Mumbai cricket by playing in the first round match of the MSSA-Inter School Giles Shield cricket tournament for boys Under-14 against Shailendra Education Society. He came to open the innings, batted for around 6 overs and scored 4 runs.
Mushir, who is also a left arm spinner, wants to be like Daniel Vettori. He likes Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar.
Mushir’s elder brother Safraraz Khan is also a school cricketer who plays for the Mumbai Under 16 team. Sarfaraz came in limelight in November 2009 when he hammered a record breaking 438 for his school Rizvi Springfield against IES Kandivili.
