New Zealand Announce International Schedule

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has announced the schedule for the 2011-12 National Bank international summer of cricket.

New Zealand will open the international summer with one Test, three One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20 matches against Zimbabwe from January 26 – February 14. It includes the inaugural international match at Cobham Oval, Whangarei.

They will then play three Twenty20 matches, three One-Day Internationals and three Tests against South Africa from 17 February to 27 March.

Dunedin’s University Oval comes back into the international schedule with an ODI against Zimbabwe and a South African Test following venue improvement work last summer.

Following recent sign-off by the ICC as an approved ground for international cricket, Whangarei’s Cobham Oval has been allocated an ODI against Zimbabwe on Waitangi Day next year.
