Rahul Dravid was included in the Indian squad for the ODI series in England.
He will be making his return to the limited overs side after a gap of 2 years.
Dravid, who has been in tremendous form in the ongoing Test series against England, will provide stability to the batting line-up which has struggled in the English conditions.
Dravid was dropped from the side following a poor home ODI series against Australia in 2007, but was recalled to support an inexperienced line-up in the lead-up to the Champions Trophy in 2009.
Harbhajan Singh has been dropped from Indian ODI and T20 squad, while Yuvraj Singh, who was ruled out of the Test series, has not been considered for the series.
Virender Sehwag was named vice-captain of the 16-member team which included limited over specialists- R Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, R Vinay Kumar, Parthiv Patel.
