The Champions League Twenty20 which is a $ 6.5 m lucrative club competition of cricket is to begin soon. Its organizers have assured robust anti-corruption as well as security measures.
The tournament will be held from September 10-26 in South Africa. As for a plan for a major event such as World Cup, the organizers will work with the unit of Anti Corruption & Securities of the ICC.
A full allotment of Anti-Corruption officers of the ICC will be present in the tournament, though it is not an event of ICC. Regular ground security and a South African firm dealing with security and other issues would be present at the event on duty.
