Sri Lanka wins toss, invites South Africa to bat

Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bowl first against South Africa in the third and the final test of the series at Newlands on Tuesday.

Sri Lanka brought in fast bowler Dhammika Prasad to replace Dilhara Fernando, who is out with a sore knee. Batsman Lahiru Thirimanne was picked in place of opener Tharanga Paranavitana.

South Africa have also made two changes, Seamer Vernon Philander returns from injury and opening batsman Alviro Petersen replaces Ashwell Prince.

Petersen will open the batting alongside Graeme Smith, while Jacques Rudolph dropped will bat at No. 6.

South Africa (Playing XI): Graeme Smith(c), Alviro Petersen, Hashim Amla, Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers, Jacques Rudolph, Mark Boucher(w), Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel, Vernon Philander, Imran Tahir.
