Sri Lanka Cricket have announced a 15-man squad for the five-match ODI series against South Africa starting in Paarl on January 11.
Fast bowlers Nuwan Kulasekara has been selected along with Lasith Malinga, who has now retired from Test cricket, opening batsman Upul Tharanga and all-rounder Kosala Kulasekara.
Kulasekara has been sidelined after sustaining an injury during the home ODI series against Australia but is now fit enough to join the squad.
Spinners Suraj Randiv, Jeevan Mendis and Seekkuge Prasanna, who all played in the recent series with Pakistan in the UAE, have been left out, with selectors opting for Rangana Herath and Ajantha Mendis.
Thilan Samaraweera, Tharanga Paranavitana, Dimuth Karunaratne, Kaushal Silva, Chanaka Welegedara and Kanishka Alvitigala, who are currently on the tour, will return when the ongoing third and final Test ends on January 7.
