Sri Lanka have rested Mahela Jayawardene and Lasith Malinga, replacing them with Chamara Kapugedera and Isuru Udana.
Angelo Mathews has been named captain in the absence of Jayawardene.
Pakistan made only one change, leaving out Umar Gul and bringing in Yasir Arafat.
