The Super Over and the much-debated Decision Review System (DRS) would be making their debut for the World Cup in the upcoming even that unfold on February 19.
As per the conditions for the showpiece of cricket which was set out by the ICC, the DRS will be used in every match.
The board of India consistently opposes the DRS, which was used selectively in Test matches after the two teams agreed to its execution.
Arjuna Ranatunga, the former winning skipper of Sri Lanka, wholeheartedly came out in its full support. He said that if the ICC has the technology, they might use it and be able to give benefit to its players.
Arjuna further said that it’s World Cup and a game can be easily changed even in one decision.
