Sydney Sixers win toss, will bat against Melbourne Stars

Sydney Sixers captain Steve Smith won the toss and elected to bat against the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Tuesday.

Opening batsman Michael Lumb, who was a part of the English World T20-winning side in 2010, and West Indian Dwayne Bravo will open the batting for the Sydney Sixers.

Ian Moran has been named 12th man for the Sixers, while Peter Hanscomb will carry the drinks for the visitors.

Key factor in the game will be the match up against spin veterans Shane Warne and the Sixers’ Stuart MacGill. Warne returns to the SCG for the first time since retiring from International Cricket there in January 2007.
