Vettori, Wright to pick team for World Cup

John Wright, the coach of New Zealand, clears that he, together with Daniel Vettori, will be the ones to pick the team for the World Cup.

Wright said that there weren’t any plans for one of the three selectors, Lance Cairns, Mark Greatbatch and Glenn Turner, on joining the subcontinent side unlike Australia that tok an independent selection panel member on tour.

He said that he, Dan Vettori and the vice captain will be picking the squad at the World Cup, and he is said to be very comfortable with that since it’s the way he’s always operated.

Wright added he’s not a rotation fan and one just has to pick his strongest side since it gives you the best chance to win and get the ongoing momentum.
