Zardari says Butt is doing a good job

Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan President, refuses on sacking PCB Chairman Ijaz Butt, telling that changing the board official isn’t needed.

Zardari said in an interview that he has no plan on changing the PCB chairman since there’s no need to do so for the chairman’s doing a very well done job.

Replying to a question about Butt’s poor management and mishandling issues, the president said that every time their team loses a match, people are starting to blame on board but whenever they win, those kinds of people praise the team’s performance.

Zardari brought in Butt since the latter has supported him even though the president scathed criticism of his chairmanship.

Regardless from the match-fixing controversy involving 3 players, Pakistan sees 5 different Test captain who come and go in over 1 year under Bitt’s chairmanship and pressure on resigning such as  Mohammed Yousuf, Shoaib Malik, Salman Butt, Shahin Afridi and Younus Khan.
